Mason Greenwood came off the bench to rescue Manchester United and their beleaguered manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a late equaliser against Everton at Old Trafford.

The travelling Toffees – under the stewardship of caretaker boss and club legend Duncan Ferguson – took the lead in the first half when Victor Lindelof inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net following a corner.
It looked as though Everton would secure back-to-back victories following Marco Silva’s sacking, but Greenwood had other ideas, coming off the bench to fire the ball past Jordan Pickford and secure a much-needed draw.
