After the Kogi election filled with widespread reports violence, ballot box and other electoral misconducts a winner emerged.
Sitting Governor, Yahaya Bello emerged the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Kogi State.
He won in 12 local governments out of the 21 local governments in the state.
Yahaya Bello was able to pull a total of 406,222 votes ahead of Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had 189,704 votes, and Natasha Akpoti of the Social Democratic Party, who emerged third with 9,482 votes.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians including son of late Afro-beat legend, Seun Kuti have reacted to Yahaya Bello’s victory at the polls.
