A 47 year old woman accuses Police of sexual assault and killing her 21 year old son in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
A woman identified as Ebi Egori, has accused officers of the IGP Monitoring Unit of assault. According to a post shared by @phcsocialmedia on Twitter, the woman claimed she was sexually assaulted and her 21-year-old son was killed by the officers.
Ebi Egori cried out for help after she was reportedly molested by police officers. She is accusing officers of the IGP Monitoring Unit of sexual assault and murder. According to the post, Egori was allegedly molested and her 21-year-old son was killed in her presence by the erring officers.
The post reads;
47 year old Mrs. Ebi Egori is calling on the Inspector General of Police to take action against officers of the IGP Monitoring Unit for sexually assaulting her and extra judicially killing her 21yr old son I’m her presence during a raid at her home in Aluu, Ikwerre LGA.
The Police has however responded promptly to her cry on Twitter and has assured her that investigations will immediately commence on the case. The responded via twitter handle, @PoliceNG_CRU
