The LaLiga side was the better side, but the Premier League champions remain in the tie thanks to second-half goal from Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy’s second-half goal will give Leicester City some hope after the Foxes fell 2-1 in their Champions League round-of-16 tie with Sevilla.
The visiting Foxes were on the backfoot throughout and should have been down after Wes Morgan conceded a penalty in the 14th minute. However Joaquín Correa put his penalty right at Kasper Schmeichel, who saved it easily.
A brilliantly-placed header by Pablo Sarabia but Sevilla up 1-0 in the 25th minute. Correa atoned for his penalty miss in the 62nd minute to double Sevilla’s lead, and leave Leicester’s hopes of advancement looking grim.
However, Vardy’s goal in the 73rd minute provided the Foxes with an away goal and a lifeline in the tie, which will head to the King Power Stadium for the second leg.
