Sport News: Hazard Named PFA Fans’ Player Of The Month, Beats Walcott And Alli To Prize

Eden Hazard’s rejuvenation under Antonio Conte has paid off, with the midfielder winning the PFA’s EPL player of the month for October.
The Belgium international found the net three times and assisted a goal in four appearances in the October, helping Chelsea to fourth on the table.

The Chelsea playmaker surpassed his personal tally from last season, when he scored his fifth goal of the season against Southampton on Saturday.

Hazard won 27,262 votes in the poll by Sky Sports, with Arsenal’s Theo Walcott coming in second with 14,737.

Stoke’s Joe Allen, Tottenham’s Dele Alli and Southampton’s Charlie Austin were also included in the shortlist, as well as Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
