Hazard may leave – only on one condition. Hazard back to his best
After a season which was pretty much a write-off, Eden Hazard is now looking back to his best.
Having won the PFA Player of the Year award in 2014/15 to cap a fine season with title-winners Chelsea, Hazard suffered a major dip in form for the Blues last season.
But after a positive showing at Euro 2016, Hazard returned to Chelsea this summer with a point to prove, and has responded well to the challenges set by new manager Antonio Conte.
With the Italian now at the helm, Hazard looks rejuvenated and reinvigorated, and appears to be coming back to his best – or even getting better.
But, how long will he stay at Chelsea for?
The Belgian has often been linked with a move away, and seemed close to a PSG move a few years back, but he’s always publicly insisted that he’s happy at Chelsea for now.
Speaking in an interview to the Guardian today, Hazard admits that he may leave the Londoners one day – but only on one crucial condition:
‘If I ever leave, it’ll be after winning a championship. You need to go out on a high so that people remember you for the right reasons.’
