It proved a frustrating afternoon at White Hart Lane for Spurs as they threw away their lead before being denied a win by the woodwork
Ahmed Musa cancelled out Vincent Janssen’s opener as Tottenham failed to find a way past Leicester City in Saturday’s 1-1 Premier League draw.
Janssen opened the scoring from the penalty spot after earning the spot-kick under the challenge of Robert Huth.
But Mahrez helped the Foxes fight back immediately after the restart, forcing Spurs – who hit the woodwork twice – to settle for a draw.
